You should Google what the LDS church has taught about the Catholics.
I have LDS friends too, some very dear and long-term,our kids grew up together, but don't delude yourself that when it hits the fan, the ranks will slam shut. They probably pity us in their hearts since the best we'll ever achieve is the lowest level of heaven where we will never see Jesus.
Fortunately they believe in almost universal salvation so they don't have to worry about you going to Hell.

I get a kick out of people who adopt teenage internet lingo and ham fistedly try to use it to make irrelevant arguments.
I get a kick out of people who LIE about others and then build strawmen to deflect attention away from their immature behavior and failure to apologize for disparaging the character of others.

And although I seriously doubt that everyone is oblivious, it could very well be that the people regurgitating this stuff on a daily basis do not realize what they are doing.
Oh absolutely. As a general rule, by all means do business with LDS people. THey (again, as a rule) have very strong business ethics. I had an LDS lawyer and an LDS accountant and my favorite furniture salesman at RC Willey is LDS. The guy I use to professionally clean our carpets is LDS. Very satisfactory and upstaanding.
If only we could go to heaven by being honest and ethical!

well, that’s noble, and I also appreciate the LDS moral atmosphere here in Utah. It’s a clean and wholesome place for the most part.
However, some of us can hardly bear to stand by and watch our beloved friends, coworkers and neighbors march themselves off the end of a plank. If you knew someone was making a terrible,eternal mistake and you just stood by and shrugged your shoulders, how can you answer for that when you are judged?
As a Christian, I fell compelled to do anything I can to throw a lifeline to the drowning. If they refuse it, I can’t help that but I won’t give up.
YOU know, if you look carefully, you will see that most of the articles posted by Colo are LDS ARTCLES! They are often pulled directly from thier own magazine, the Mormon Times. Or they are a news article from the local UTah papers, most of which are very biased toward the LDS.
Duh, then the guy in the middle? He’s the “shacker” perhaps?
