Ummm... we are talking about theology, correct? The Bible?
Unfortunately, the truths you seek are IN the lines, not between them. Trying to read between the lines of the Bible would be trying to add to the scripture, which the Bible (the words IN the lines) says you shall not do.
The Truth is not outside the box, it is in The Book.
"You are a king, then!" said Pilate.
Jesus answered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."
Being self taught has it advantages forces one into survival mode causing me to sharpens my discernment to think out of the box, to read between the lines or even to understand parables!

The Holy Ghost trumps for the spirit of the Lord will bring to mind things said and things left unsaid the children of the Lord have ears to hear and eyes to see to know the things of the Lord and to grasp the Parables of the Lord.
