With the introduction of the new translation taking almost a decade, I was wondering if there had been a brain drain in the Church. The Latin to vernacular learning period in the late 1960’s was very short and there was little or no catechesis involved. It was just shoved down our throats. First now, why is instruction necessary when it the past it was ignored. Has the advent of the brain dead MTV crowd necessitated the need for catechesis? In addition, will there be an apology given to the Faithful Remnant for the translation used from 1968 to the present? Just wondering
