Excellent news!!
No, not about Henry VIII........about +Rowan.........he actually believes in hell!!

I'm kind of curious.....if Henry's just made it to hell....where's he been hanging out all this time???
Is there some sort of waiting room? If so, he's been there since late January of 1547....truly a long time to wait.
And....later on.....if this guy is wrong....does Henry get to leave hell??? If so, does he get to seek vengence on the guy who sent him there??
Lots of really cool theological (or just plain silly) questions - depending upon one's point of view.

Has Rowan Williams Damned Henry VIII to Hell?He does not have that authority. Both of these gentlemen will one day stand before that Authority. Mr. Williams at least still retains the option to make any adjustments that may be necessary.

For a minute there I thought it said “Has Rowan Atkinson Damned Henry VIII to Hell?” (guy who played The Black Adder).

He is not the Pope nor pretending to be in charge. From what I can read, he is just admitting that it is possible that Henry the murderous adulterer is in hell.
