Yes, but that too was predicted.
The only thing that keeps me sane in these days is the fact that God is in control and everything happens according to his plan.
Remember that only a remnant will be saved, and that remnant will be humble in spirit in order to hear His voice.

“But as the days of Noah [were], so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Also, “Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.” James 5:8
