How about Lead, Kindly Light, the words of which were written by Newman himself? The music was written in 1857 by Charles Purday, a noted English hymn writer and church music director.

It could be worse, they could have used “Let There Be Peace on Earth” or any of the sets of lyrics to the tune of “Morning Has Broken” that our organist loves.
