In the 60s Catholic School I attended, I was told all non-Christians would go to Hell. When I asked what would happen to the people of the world that had not been exposed to Christianity, I was told upon death "pagans" would stand before God and be asked "Do you accept Christ?" If yes, they went to Heaven, if not they went straight to Hell."

I told the nun who said this to me "Geez, seems like it would be easier to be a pagan then. Who's gonna say no I don't believe when you are standing face to face with God? Wouldn't have to worry about all this stuff we're studying."

I didn't get good grades in Religion class...magritte
