"You", of course, are just words on a screen and like Schroeder's cat, neither alive nor dead, fish nor fowl, until I actually meet the image* that appears to be "you" :-)

* And you will be just an image until I shake your hand or you punch my face, in which case, you will also be a sensation of touch invented in my brain. And if you kill me, then I will either go to an "afterworld" disbelieving in you, or I will cease to exist never knowing. In short, your actual existence is impossible to "prove" to me in any human terms.
