Protestant clergy go to prison and are not protected by a non-extraditing Vatican. Where is your Cardinal Law now?

"non-extraditing Vatican"?

Law has not been indicted on any charge (in the U.S. or any other country), and therefore no extradition procedure is ongoing or possible.

So why do you mention "non-extraditing Vatican" in connection with Law?

It's hard to charge someone who flees the country to a non-extraditing entity.

Cardinal Bernard F. Law and more than five bishops who worked for him have received subpoenas to appear before a state grand jury looking into possible criminal violations by church officials who supervised priests accused of sexually abusing children, according to people with knowledge of the investigation. State troopers from the office of Attorney General Thomas F. Reilly delivered Law's subpoena to his Brighton residence last Friday, the same day that Law left for Washington. A day later, he flew from Washington to Rome.
