I would also suggest that the “smorgasbrod” of christian churches poses a temptation for others.Every lapsed Catholic I know (and I know a lot) did not switch to another faith. They quit going to church altogether.

Every lapsed Catholic I know (and I know a lot) did not switch to another faith. They quit going to church altogether. Well, you know one now. I rejected Catholicism at age 13. As an adult, I started going to a Bible-preaching Evangelical church.

Every lapsed Catholic I know (and I know a lot) did not switch to another faith. They quit going to church altogether. Carl Jung noticed that disillusioned Protestants found another Protestant denomination. Disillusioned Catholics more typically became atheist.
