I just reviewed the Religion Moderators posts. It seems a lot more Catholics are warned not to "make it personal" than those attacking Catholics in particular and Catholicism in general.

In their defense, this may just be due to the number of Catholic posters and how often they post. But I did not see very many warnings directed towards the usual suspects who post the continuous nonsense against the Church on these threads.

It’s because they are very good at substituting “Roman Catholic apologists” or something similar, in order to make the comment one step removed from the individual to keep from “making it personal,” as per forum rules.

And, I’m sure one of them will be here soon to point that fact out to us.

"I just reviewed the Religion Moderators posts."

The religion moderator is a thankless task and for the most part it is done well with no hint of favoritism. I suspect that you will see every side of every argument crying about partiality. I only commented because I thought I could bring a slightly different perspective to the discussion, one that may not have been considered. Either way, I will continue to participate.
