Seattle is one of the epicenters of theological and liturgical lunacy. It was Fr.Michael Ryan, pastor of St. James Cathedral in Seattle who instigated the "What if We Just Said Wait" campaign regarding the introduction of the new (read "more accurate") translations for the Mass.
Going back as far as Archbishop Hunthausen, Seattle has been infected with the "spirit of Vatican II" virus and it continues to run a high fever to this day.
