That’s Utah my friend, not LDS! Of course, Utah could have a high suicide rate like the Northwest, but that would be tragic and inflammatory indeed.
The high number of LDS contributes to the corresponding high rate of usage.
LDS culture permeates Utah. There is very little separation of Church and State there in reality.
Utah IS LDS by and large, and culturally moreso.
