I'm sorry you thought I was questioning your faith in Jesus Christ.
It's because those making the predictions demonstrate absolutely no awareness of any history before five minutes ago.

Hey, I was just talking in general terms, just like you - you say people who scoff tend not to believe in Jesus Christ; I say people who get scoffed at tend to make accusations about not believing in Jesus Christ. Seems like we were doing about the same thing. Or at least that's what I had in mind.

It may very well not be true with you, but I can't for the life of me understand how people can still take people like Hal Lindsey seriously - he said himself, back before his first predictions failed, that we should consider him a fool and a false prophet if the predictions failed. They failed, as have many of his predictions since, yet people still listen to him as a voice of authority on prophecy. How is that possible, if it's not a result of being ignorant of history?
