I don’t believe in predestination for one; and I also believe that the tongues on penecost were just languages so those who were there that day could understand the message of good news.

I have not yet referred to 'predestination', merely referred to the ability of Almighty I AM to see all of History as He chooses, thus He could see the advent of Luther even at the human perspective of the Day of Pentecost.

The scene as related int eh Bible has The Holy SPirit speaking through the Apostles AND the Holy Spirit touching the ears of the listeners so that they understood the Gospel in their own language. When Peter went to the Centurian's home and was about to preach the Gospel to them, The Holy Spirit touched those int he audience to such a noticeable degree that even Peter was astonished and insisted they be Baptised forthwith.

God's timing and perspective is so very different from Man's. I'm curious: do you doubt that The Holy SPirit can call souls even in a Church where the pastor is a sexual degenerate hiding his degeneracy from the congregation? ... Do you acknowledge that it is the responsibility of the congregation to then deal with this person so that the demonic influence cannot be more empowered in their midst?
