The pronunciation may not be that close in Tulsa or East Cowpie or where ever you are, but it is indistinguishable from arse from Dingle to Derry.

How old are you anyway?

It is just inconceivable that a grown adult would be so petty over the use of an abbreviation just because somewhere at sometime someone once made fun of it.

I’m pretty sure the the abbreviation came first and some immature snot saw it an an opportunity to harass some Catholics.

And I’ll bet he’d be laughing himself silly knowing that he was still getting a rise out of someone with it over a hundred years later.

Do you always let others control your life like that? Because by not letting go, that’s exactly what you’re doing.
