Besides, given your Taipei location, for all I knew, you were an aficianado of stinky dofu/tofu. Lots of my friends loved the stuff.
I just think it’s an interesting cultural thing and an interesting label for a food. It’s fun to play with.
However, I realize that the rabid cliques are notorious for thin skins so I can understand there might occasionally be a hysterical freak out over a very unique dofu/tofu.
I suppose in a desperate pinch when nothing else was available, I could be convinced to use a very tiny bit as the bread. I’d sure search high and low to avoid it, however.
God would probably think the whole situation would be hilarious.

Deep fried chou dofu for bread and, what, congee for wine? Can you imagine needing something for the meal and the only thing on the block is Tai Hang’s food stall of unique stink? You better remember to remove the century eggs on the way back or you’ll be having conversions to Judaism on the spot lol! Yahweh sure would find it funny! He probably had the event in mind when he created the stuff.
