I’ve heard so many times that we Catholics fall in lock-step, we aren’t allowed to read the Bible for ourselves, we can’t decide for ourselves what to think, we are told we have to agree on everything or our Church will send us to hell —

That's odd. I read the Bible for myself, decide for myself what to think, don't agree with everything the church teaches and you've essentially agreed with the Catholic church that I'm going to hell for it.

Here is the comment I made. How is that telling you that you are going to hell according to the Catholic Church?

"Oh, no, the Catholic Church won't guarantee you a place in hell for heresy. You can do that all by yourself."
