...The “sex positive” agenda goes all the way from the homosexual agenda, to lowering (evenutally with the goal to elminate entirely) age of consent laws...

...as they admitted in their own words...

#7-Repeal of all laws governing the age of sexual consent.

>>> Homosexuality was consider “abomination”

So was eating lobster or wearing mixed fabric clothing. What’s in your closet ?

Let’s face it, the scribe of Deuteronomy didn’t approve much of anything or anyone. Yet says slavery is ok as long as you just enslave people outside the tribe. Go figure.

Lobster (shell fish) was not continued in the New Testament and specifically mentioned by Paul in Romans whereas homosexuality was. I posted the quote, if you wish to go back and read it.

One must look at the Council of Jerusalem (Acts 15) to understand that which from the law was still considered wrong for Christians.

"Christian" music became bastardized decades ago when it became self-absorbed money-making pablum. It left its first love, and went the way of the world without a second glace toward the truth it was leaving.

A few artists from the 70's refused to prostitute themselves. Don Francisco is one of the very few to come to mind.

Morgana, forgiving those who have done me wrong is hard. I did not used to understand it as well as I do now, and I am sure deeper understanding is yet to come.

First of all Jesus tells us to pray “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us”. The Vedas teach the same humility.

This does not we have to pretend to think that those who have harmed us are now good guys, harmless, won’t do it again, or are sorry. They may be none of those things. Forgiving them also doesn’t mean that we have to have them in our lives or homes or have any kind of relatinship with them.

Understanding this has helped me:

People who cause harm to others are either now, or will be soon, very suffering souls. They act in a way that is very displeasing to God, and they will reap what they have sown. They are (when causing harm) acting out of ignorance, and are in darkness. If they do not repent, they will die alone, in terror and like a wounded animal. SOmeone who harms others has no love for God or for God’s children in their heart. That means their future is very dark, with unimaginable suffering ahead for them.

Remembering this helps me to try to forgive those who have harmed me. And this also, what Jesus said to God while he was on cross: He begged God to forgive his torturers, that they did not know what a terrible offense they were committing.

When I thought about this, I realized that if Jesus could forgive, and beg God to forgive, those who were attempting to murder and torture him, how can I, a sinful person, not forgive those who have harmed me?

Remember that God is not willing that anyone should perish, and that homosexuality is not inherently worse than adultery, promiscuity, or other sins. .

1.Lev. 18:22 , "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination." 2.Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them." 3.1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,1 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God." 4.Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

I'm noticing the words "abomination", "detestable", and "depraved" in those passages (I'm kinda sorta thinking God doesn't like the act of homosexuality).

While adultery is indeed a sin and a very serious matter, (Paul lists "adulterers" right along with drunkards, homosexuals, swindlers and fornicators as being those who "shall not inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Cor. 6:9-10), I'm not seeing the words "abomination", detestable" or "depraved" written to describe it.

Regarding your last statement:
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Save that for someone who pees his panties over the thought of being called a "homophobe". God allows us to judge, even if we aren't perfect.

The story of Jesus and the adultress is often used to mean that no one should criticize anyone for sinful acts.

I think that is a totally wrong understanding. It means, no one should stone people to death for adultery. It also means, we should each look into our own hearts and find our own shortcomings, and work on ourselves.

It does not mean that we should pat adulterers or homosexuals or any unrepetent sinner on the head and say “there there, God loves you just as you are”.

Certainly God loves every soul unconditionally but He also can be very disgusted and angry when souls rebel and behave in ways He has clearly condemned. He doesn’t want those who are trying to serve Him to cover up sinful and digusting behavior with white wash and pretend that those who commit and promote such sins are perfectly okay as they are.

Telling the truth and not lying is serving Him.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

For some odd reason atheists are usually the ones that use that quote. Could it be that they have an “ulterior motive”? (Duh).

Your wrote: “Of course, promsicuity, adultery, and the long list of even worse sexual sins is there. But to be an unrepentent proud homosexual is helping not only to degrade the general culture, but acts to influence young people.”

Well said my FRiend. Keep in mind that it is the well financed, politically powerful homosexual lobby that is attempting to infiltrate (and eventually destroy) valuable American institutions such as marriage, the nuclear family, the Church, the military, education, and of course youth mentor groups like The Boy Scouts.

Have other organized sins been that persistent?

No. Homosexual behavior makes people crazy. It really does. It poisons their minds.

There has been, and continue to be, groups both organized and not so, that push and promote all manner of sexual sin including NAMBLA, SEICO (sp??), Planned Parenthood and so on. They are all connected. The people in these organizations and who support their agendas have been driven mad, are trying to go to hell as fast as possible, and bring as many other souls with them as they can. Our culture (meaning the one we live in, we don’t all participate in it!) is toxic and more dangerous than the worst dread disease.

It cannot continue in this direction and at this pace. It just cannot.

Straight from the source:

WELCOME! The North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) was formed in 1978. It was inspired by the success of a campaign based in Boston's gay community to defend against a local witchhunt. NAMBLA's goal is to end the extreme oppression of men and boys in mutually consensual relationships by: building understanding and support for such relationships; educating the general public on the benevolent nature of man/boy love; cooperating with lesbian, gay, feminist, and other liberation movements; supporting the liberation of persons of all ages from sexual prejudice and oppression. Our membership is open to everyone sympathetic to man/boy love and personal freedom.
NAMBLA.org

Planned Parenthood's slogan should be: "We not only murder unborn babies, but we push sexual perversion on our youth as well!"

Hmm, I got that one wrong. It’s an organization that’s been around for quite a while promoting the sexualization of children, and has been influential in sex-ed in schools. I’ll see if I can find the name, there have been articles about it on FR and I’m sure I’ve pinged at least one, but maybe several years ago. They’re of course totally evil.
