Christ was not acting as our Savior "when He was a child." The Bible seldom speaks about Christ's early years for this very reason. They are of little consequence to his three-year ministry The life of Our Lord and Saviour is inconsequential except for His last three years? Don't you see why we consider the lunatic fringe of the Reformed movement to be non Christian? Paul is the deliverer of the Gospel According to Isaiah and Christ doesn't matter except when He dies and is resurrected. Under Reformed doctrine, Christ is simply a mechanical automaton, going through the motions, and narrated by Isaiah via Paul. Is there any Christ in your Christianity? It seems not.

( I would not believe in the Gospel if the authority of the Catholic Church did not move me to do so.)

We are saved by Christ's passive obedience regarding His death on the cross and His active obedience to God's law in all things.
And that's it. No co-redeemers telling Christ what to do and whom to save.
Flee from the idolatry Rome practices.
