I trust the Bible, and I trust the Church, which, under divine inspiration, compiled the Bible, including the parts which the Jews rejected after the Ascension of Our Lord. The same Church, also divine inspiration, solemnly declared at the Council of Ephesus that the Blessed Virgin Mary was Theotokos, and at the Second Council of Nicaea, repudiated iconoclasm as heresy.

It's always surprising when the Roman Catholic apologist is shown the Second Commandment of God and yet he still does not recognize the idolatry he practices by praying to Mary and assorted dead people.

"The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods." -- Psalm 97:6-7

"The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them." -- Psalm 135:15-18
