What is a church that’s Bible based? That’s my problem.
I don’t know where to go.
Hi Princess.... Your question of where to go is not unusual when one wants to discover more about God and just what their own standing might be. This in itself is often times evidence God is moving in a persons heart and mind and that’s a very good thing. We simply on our own do not desire to know apart from His drawing us...so this is actually exciting and a beautiful thing to have occur in our life. But the questions of where to begin remains.
In my opinion you cannot go wrong by starting to read the Bible. Don’t be concerned with what you might not understand rather pay more attention to what you do understand. Ask God to show you what you should know and about Himself...I promise you He will not disappoint you and you will be quite amazed.
As for a church to go to....even that will be revealed in time but I generally think it is very wise to begin with you and God and the letters He wrote to us as a compass to discover what He desires we know.
There are many who attend a church but lack the relatioship with God He desires...so beginning with Him is the perfect place to start. Just read and talk to Him about what you are reading...then read some more. The book of John is a great book to begin in for it reveals Gods love to us in so many ways and is a comfortable read.
I think when people mention a Bible believing church ...well that is church talk though they are quite right to say that. It just means the leadership and the people believe in the scriptures, what is written and the pastor preaches and teaches from the Bible.
find a Calvary Chapel. I go to one in Winter Park, FL. It is a great bible based church and they are all around the US. Small, intimate and awesome! (some are alittle larger and still great).
I go to the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS)- NO association with the ELCA.
Our pastors teach bible based scripture, plain & simple.
Northwestern Publishing House puts out an awesome bible studies series, called “the peoples bible”, link below.

They take each book of the bible and go through it verse by verse with commentary using purely scripture to interpret.
I read them every day.
God Bless
