When God discredited the Japanese Shinto cult, Douglas MacArthur begged America for 10,000 missionaries. What he got was engineers -- and today, Japan is one of the most materialistic countries on earth.

It's ironic that the Japanese are what they are today because they adopted Quality concepts originated by an American and rejected by American corporations: An exceptionally efficient society at all levels and a country a heckuva lot cleaner and safer than a significant portion of the good ol' USA. And God had nothing to do with it. Those who pretend to know the mind of God are full-blown delusional.
