Thanks. He can only be an improvement from the current disaster. My theory is that, being Hispanic, he comes into LA with a huge bank account of ethnic good will (call it the “Obama effect”?) that will make for an unshakable base of support when times get tough. And if he can serve as a draw to call Hispanics back from those horrid immigrant-targeting pentecostal sects, so much the better.
