Wow! You mention "World War"!
The Eyes of the Whole World become focused AGAIN upon Jerusalem,
During The FIRST WORD WAR!
Here is a Post from Our thread from Two DAYS Ago:

We are seeing Scripture unfold before our eyes, my FRiend,
When Gen. Allenby liberated Jerusalem from the Ottoman Arabs during WW1,
they didn't resist him at all,
because his name "Allenby" was a pun in Arabic (Allah'n'Bey) meaning "Prophet (or messenger) of Allah!
Plus they KNEW in their HEARTS they didn't really own Jerusalem,
and that they were just occupying the Holy City of the Jews TEMPORARILY.
That event was the beginning of the British Mandate,
The Balfour Declaration, and the Modern Jewish State of Israel.
Of Course GOD knew this was going to happen before He even decided to Say
"Let There Be Light"
and Make The Big Bang Happen! LOL

It is my opinion that EVEN General Allenby's NAME was NO COINCIDENCE!

Oh my goodness. I have not been able to read all these threads in detail and did not know about your post of yesterday or two days ago mentioning World War I.

But today’s “American Minute” thread - which I posted in BREADKING NEWS - because in it we are asked to pray for our nation - TODAY - is about April 6, 1917 - the beginning of World War I.

Please read that thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2487461/posts?page=7#7

How awesome it is that the Holy Spirit is tying together even all that is being posted here on Free Republic!!!
