The argument that the Shroud of Turin is a painting was throughly debunked by several scientists who have studied the Shroud, as explained in the video “The Fabric of Time.” There is no evidence that the image was been created by paint pigments of any sort. In fact the ongoing speculation now is that it was imprinted by some form of radiation. Go back and read through my posts on this thread for a point by point debunking, I don’t want to write it all over again. More importantly though, watch the video “The Fabric of Time” for the latest on all the scientific evidence regarding the Shroud of Turin and then see if your case still holds up.
By far, the weight of the evidence to date is that the Shroud of Turin is authentic.
