It’s true. Mormons not only believe THEY are Christians, they believe Christians ARE NOT Christians.
They think Jesus and his disciples taught exactly what they believe.
It’s the Cristians who lost and mistranslated the bible to make it read what it does now.
But luckily Joseph Smith came to the rescue and “restored” the gospel to what it “should” be.
It’s ridiculous and blasphemy.
Certainly it is to all those who know what true Christianity means. Unfortunately, not for many of whom I will call "Christian-lite" and they are precisely the ones that Mormon missionaries go to and they "straighten up the questions as to 'why we were born, where are we going,'" etc.
Those who barely understand issues of faith are the easiest to convince all kinds of non-Christian "beliefs."
My word to all, especially those brought up in a church, baptized as a baby or child, or a new Christian: learn what it truly means to be a Christian by reading your bible yourself (the New King James is easy to read and hasn't been altered in meaning.)
Read John 3:16 and 17, and Romans 10:9-13then read all of the Gospel of John (not the Epistle of John) to understand who Jesus is; followed by Gallatians which explains the basis of faith - Grace, then the Book of Hebrews.
