Nothing is said about what the Pope believes. So I am wondering why you even asked the question. Perhaps you can explain in more detail.It doesn't mention the word "pope" but it plainly states that Biblical teaching in the Catholic Church has "evolved," ie, that it is different now from what it was in the beginning.
All one has to do is compare ancient/medieval to modern Catholic Biblical teaching to see that this is just what happened.
