***I will pray for her. Maybe by nightfall I’ll be able to manage it. In the meantime, please pray for me, also, that I might settle down and embrace charity and open my heart to the Light of Christ. I don’t like feeling this way about anyone.***

We are commanded to “love thy neighbor,” and that includes everyone. A priest once explained that command in his sermon when he said that of course we can’t love everyone, and can’t even like everyone. What we must do is love the soul created by God and pray for it. So, you’re forgiven if you can’t love (or even like) Pelosi, and you’re on the right path if you pray for her.

It helps (for me) if I imagine the little baby girl who was kissed and dressed in a dainty white gown and baptized Annunciata D’Alesandro Pelosi.

God still remembers every wiggle of her tiny fingers and toes, and every smile and every tear on her infant face. God wants to pry off the horde of nauseating demons that have attached themselves to her soul, and win her back to what she ws created for: pure love.

This, like the priest sex scandal, is a symptom of the fetish for modernity which overcame the Church in the late ‘60s and is still seen today.
Even popes can do little without good orthodox bishops in the diocese.

Insurance companies don’t deny coverage to the overweight, but you can bet the Gov will. When we’re all starving, they know we’ll eat the Green.

Remember that in many states some other behavior related illnesses (AIDS) HAVE to be covered. Mental health coverage, which is mandated, includes addictions and rehab.

Mrs. Pelosi embraces her personal “demons”. I don’t look for any conversion before the deathbed.

It is only expected that Obama would claim that 55 signatures would equal everyone in a chosen field.

he should be stampeded by catholics for misrepresenting this.

The “seamless garment” social justice of these Catholics is a LIE. There is no social justice when the least and most vulnerable among us is still being legally slaughtered in the womb.

Pray that God will once again turn His face towards America and see that there are righteous who are fighting this disgraceful act. He has heard our cries before, let us not give up. The sin of Judas is despair.

I am protestant. I was raised in a very strict Church of Christ. Which I left as a adult for a non-denominational church where we learn the bible and it’s teachings.

The way we were taught in Church is to love thy neighbor but you fight evil. You do not damn a soul to h*ll but you know right from wrong and it must be clear to others that you do know. You pray for God to change them. But you are not a stumbling block for others by being accepting of evil.

You realize others are flawed and you do not turn against them but you hold true to your beliefs. That through you they can change by your actions. It is for God to change their hearts. I was taught there will be many false prophets and we will know them.

I think you were taught right. It is hard to do. We have many temptations: to hate, on the one hand; to despair on the other. Even to let things slide: what a luxurious sin that would be.

We must pray for friend and enemy. And pray for each other always. I fail at that many times, but I do try.

Catholic Bishops Still Oppose Executive Order
snip

Health care reform must protect life and conscience, not threaten them. The Senate bill extends abortion coverage, allows federal funds to pay for elective abortions (for example, through a new appropriation for services at Community Health Centers that bypasses the Hyde amendment), and denies adequate conscience protection to individuals and institutions. Needed health care reform must keep in place the longstanding and widely supported federal policy that neither elective abortion nor plans which include elective abortion can be paid for with federal funds. Simply put, health care reform ought to continue to apply both parts of the Hyde amendment, no more and no less. The House adopted this policy by a large bipartisan majority, establishing the same protections that govern Medicaid, SCHIP, the Federal Employee Health Benefits Program and other federal health programs.

Despite claims to the contrary, the status quo prohibits the federal government from funding or facilitating plans that include elective abortion. The Senate bill clearly violates this prohibition by providing subsidies to purchase such plans. The House bill provided that no one has to pay for other people’s abortions, while this Senate bill does not. While the Senate provides for one plan without abortion coverage in each exchange, those who select another plan in an exchange to better meet the special needs of their families will be required to pay a separate mandatory abortion fee into a fund exclusively for abortions. This new federal requirement is a far more direct imposition on the consciences of those who do not wish to pay for the destruction of unborn human life than anything currently in federal law.

It is not those who require that the Hyde Amendment be fully applied who are obstructing reform, since this is the law of the land and the will of the American people. Rather, those who insist on expanding federal participation in abortion, require people to pay for other people’s abortions, and refuse to incorporate essential conscience protections (both within and beyond the abortion context) are threatening genuine reform. With conscience protection as with abortion funding, our goal is simply to preserve the status quo.”

The Bishops should warn all Catholic members of Congress that IF they support abortion they will be excommunicated immediately.

They should, but they won't.

Nanny Pelosi is VERY Catholic but she is NOT at all Christian. I mean no offense to faithful Catholics nor to the many heroic martyrs and saints who put Jesus Christ before all of the modern day ritual and empty ceremony of many “catholic” congregations. Where will humankind turn after America, the last best hope has sold its soul to the lowest roller?

“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.” Luke 23:34

You are incorrect. The Catholic Church is hierarchic and orthodox. Pelosi is neither Christian nor Catholic. She is a scandalous heretic and should form her own Church with the womynpriests.

If her heirarchic and orthodox church were worth a damn they would prohibit her from whoring her catholicism and waving it around like a used tampon and at very least forbid her from taking communion and/or excommunicate her for her myriad anti-Christian views and activism that enshrine immorality into law.
