Not really sure what you intended to accomplish.

But, Joseph was as misguided as Innocent, Leo X, JPII and the others that introduced misleading extra-biblical theology into the mix. This goes for Mary Baker Eddy, Ellen G. White, The Russelites. Have I left anyone out?

And just so I am not accused of partiality, the so-called Protestants recently implementing bad hermeneutics are equally guilty of misleading: Bruce Wilkenson, Benny Hinn, Oral Roberts, Joel Osteen, and the gang that thinks they are receiving direct/personal revelation from God. The Gospel has been delivered "once for all" and we have enough on our hands understand that without nut jobs adding "new" insight. There, have I equally offended all splinter groups?

Did you read the original thread article and the first 8 posts? Restoration...Joseph Smith....first sentence..“Nothing less than a complete apostasy from the Christian religion would warrant the establishment of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”

I'm Baptist, I didn't see a thing in your post to take umbrage at. (At which to take umbrage) gotta keep reminding myself to not end a sentence with one of those dang ole prepositions.
