So, Lucifer wants us to pray to God to know the truth?
The issue is this....from your "challenge"..Mormons frequently refer people investigating their religion to a promise in the Book of Mormon, Moroni 10:4:
This is encouraging seekers to accept the words from a fictional character from a book of fiction that was inspired by Satan.
There is no "God" involved in this challenge, unless it's the fictional mormon god who is a created being who "worked his way" to fictional godhood.
All the clever word play in the world doesn't change that.
Yes, a false God. The finite, ex-human god of the Mormons. He'll fix you right up while Satan laughs with delight.
So, Lucifer wants us to pray to God to know the truth?

Lucifer wants you to trust your feelings to determine truth rather than the Bible.
The acceptance of additional scripture automatically assumes that the Bible is not enough. If the Bible is not enough, or trustworthy enough, then Satan wins because we look for other paths to God than the one He laid out in Scripture.
Satan can (and does) perform miracles to keep people from the real God.
