For all the Catholics on FR who deny that the Catholic church teaches that non-Catholics aren’t saved, that is certainly what I grew up being taught and believing.
Until I started thinking for myself.
The Roman Catholic Church technically doesn’t even recognize the Eastern Rites are legitimate, a sore spot to be sure with my relatives who were priests and nuns in that rite.
