There is so much we do wrong however, I'm not sure what the penalties are for this. IMHO, the biggest sin may be calling Sunday the Sabbath. Jesus met for church on Saturday, just as all the other Jews did. I can't find the verse where He changed it to Sun. I feel we have been given freedom and aren't so tied to the Law as the Jews were, but there is also no commandment telling us it doesn't matter anymore.

I can think of no better reply than Jesus' in Matthew 23.... Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

Yeah, I agree. Changing the Sabbath to Sunday was the invention of man, a tradition of men. Jesus wasn't to understanding when it came to the traditions of men. Why would they do that if for no other reason than confusion, and confusion comes from which author? I didn't want to make a big deal over a post from a first day Freeper, but I didn't want to dismiss the principle he was espousing. Jesus said He didn't come to change the Law, but to fulfill it. The Law says to keep the Sabbath holy. Which Sabbath is spoken of in Exodus? I'm not a Seventh Day Adventist, but merely stating that we are willfully sinning. In the NT, we are told by Jesus to not worry about the Feast Days but service to man. The observance of the Feast Days was to prophesy His coming.

I would submit the Sabbath is another thing.
