No such edict or even passing suggestion exists, we're done.
Rome has indeed made edicts along these lines. These edicts are written into the very catechisms that are riled when someone points out that what is happing is idolatry and blasphemy.
And there is more, much more, than passing suggestion that this is Rome’s direction. If there wasn’t, then Christians wouldn’t be moved so much and so often to post about it on these “Mary” threads. These threads also wouldn’t pop up so often if those on Rome’s side didn’t also think so much and so often along these lines.
Time is short. Idolatry and blasphemy need to be put away now. People must be lead to Christ and away from “Mary”, not vice versa. The day is coming when it will be too late. And that vision of “Mary” just might one day be the prophet of the beast written about in Revelation.
