So, stars that are five to ten million light years away, only appear so? We need to rewrite the laws of physics, in that case.

Of course you would have to accept the idea of a "big bang" first to reason about the location of the stars now from a single compact source. I personally believe God said, "Let their be light." and BAM there was light, all at once. So the measuring of something in light years only is a way of measuring distance and not time. A light year is about about 6 trillion miles.

The problem with today’s scientists is that they cannot wrap their arms around GOD and his Physics about creation, they have some distorted image of *GOD* as some magician or Samantha type that just twitched his nose and makes things appear, and of course that kind of image does sound like a fairytale.

A light-year is also indicative of how long light takes, to travel the distance specified.

A star 10 million light years away from Earth, has light which has taken 10 million years to arrive Earth. That means the star has to be older than 10 million years, if the star is visible in the sky.

This, unless you have a model challenging the currently accepted laws of physics.
