Being given that we’re talking about social issues here, are you cautioning Catholics to be careful who they’re bedding with on those issues, or just doctrinal issues?

Both, the social issue - say abortion - is intwined to doctrinal issues. The bedding down - do mormons want the Catholics to adjust / accept mormon theology of the pre-existance of the spirit, something the Catholics do not hold too.

Second point is that it is my belief that mormons will attempt to exploit this joining together on 'social' issues to enhance their missionary efforts as they tried to earlier with the evangelicals that spoke in slc some time ago.

Guess we'll have to wait and see if the 'relationship' lasts

So, would it be your position that conservative Christians as a whole should not team up w/ Mormons on these issues, that you should go at it on your own without our assistance?

Interesting. Again, thanks for making my point. A point I’ve been making for some time here. Dividing conservatives?

Done much for conservatism today? I believe you think you have.
