Amen we have been bought with a price Ransomed is I believe how the Bible puts it. We don't wiggle our way out of the chains by believing we could. Jesus didn't pay a ransom to give us an opportunity to run away on our own accord. He paid the price, unshackled the chains, and delivered us to freedom.
