I thought the carbon dating on this was much later than the time of Christ? I remember the University of Arizona doing a carbon dating in the 90’s.

contaminated/invalid pieces of the cloth were sampled, plus other organics being present that were not filterd out properly.

The radiocarbon dating tests were “wrong” for a very good reason: It has long been proven that the samples/fibrils they tested came from a rewoven area of the Shroud, not from original Shroud material.

See Ray Rogers’ work on this. Great stuff.
