Let me see if I understand this. Someone deliberately lies about my religion and attempts to engender hatred against it. I respond, admittedly hotly, and because I mentioned dog feces to make a point; *I* am the bad guy?
So, lying and misrepresenting others is perfectly acceptable on Free Republic, but stay away from feces and bodily waste of any kind? What about passing gas or burps? Would they also offend you?
Would it then be ok if I used aphid honeydew or will that also offend your tender sensibilities?
Just making sure I understand the rules. My history on Free Republic, admittedly sporadic as of late, is consistently cerebral and bereft of ad hominems. If elevation of discourse is the goal of this forum, perhaps smackdowns of those who deliberately attempt to stimulate hatred towards others due to religious, racial, or sexual preferences is in order, don’t you think?
Why not start with the anti-Mormons on this site?
