Notice, “Catholic Church” is not anywhere in the three sentences.
but, a Catholic replies:
“Congratulations, you agree with the Catholic Church!”
When I hadn’t said anything about the Catholic Church yet.
So, I respond,
“Twist,twist.
“God regarded her humility.
“The CC regards her as deified.
And the same Catholic then replies:
“Perhaps the CC does.
“The Catholic Church does not regard Mary as deified. [LOL!]
“And, no, you don’t get to change that.”
I will add here that the Catholic Church is first and foremost its priests, and the priests who make the statements as in Post #503 don’t get rebuked or corrected for it. Since these are public record, it is fair to assume that the Vatican is very aware of the long-running deification of Mary, and it is also fair to take their statements as reflecting the attitude and position of the church.
Nobody needs to change anything.
But you HAD said something that agrees with the Catholic Church.
