Amen. By the grace of God alone.
Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them." -- Psalms 115:3-8"But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
So when Roman Catholics tell us they do not worship Mary, that they merely look to her for help, are we not to view that help as a kind of "trust" which God cautions us against?
BTW, while I was looking up that verse I found these...
Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants. Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction. I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me. I am thine, save me" -- Psalms 119:89-94
""For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
Great stuff, eh? Especially after reading RnMom's posted prayers by Roman Catholics which say believers belong to Mary...
"My Queen! my Mother! I give thee all myself, and, to show my devotion to thee, I consecrate to thee my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart, my entire self. Wherefore, O loving Mother, as I am thine own, keep me, defend me, as thy property and possession."
(((shudder)))
You made the claim, where's your proof?
Your anti-Catholic gruel gets thinner and thinner.
As Christ wills.
