The Scenario:
Ever have one of those days when youre feeling full of energy and vigor? I mean, youre feeling just obnoxiously happy? Well, this is one of those days.
Driving home from work, you switch on the radio to see whats happening, and you tune in to a local Protestant radio station just in time to hear a preacher speaking against various Catholic doctrines concerning Mary. The show is called Pastor Bobs Bible Hour. Pastor Bob proclaims: Jesus knew Catholics would come along and begin to worship His mother and call her perpetual virgin and absurd things like that. But the Bible says: Is not this the carpenters son? Is not His mother called Mary? And are not His brethren James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? And are not all of His sisters with us? (Matt. 13:55-56a). And isnt it sad, my brothers and sisters?
Pastor Bob goes on to say: Jesus dealt with these Mary worshippers in His day. In Luke 11:27-28, the Bible says, A woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts that You sucked! But He said, Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!
On a normal day you would probably just listen, take a few mental notes and drive on. But not this time. Youre feeling a little bit too saucy. You take the first exit you see and head for a phone. This is just one more reason why you need to buy that cell phone youve been talking about getting.
Step One:

thank you, but that I can’t accept. I just come in once in a while and poke fun at the goofballs - and as you can see, they certainly leave plenty of ammunition around. The others are the true heavyweights who take on the nonsense directly and consistently. They belong at the round table, not the court jester.
Which is actually blasphemous when you consider that many who end with this statement also DENY the Divinity of Jesus Christ. To declare that He is the Messiah and nothing more is considered blasphemy by ALL Christians, not just Catholics.
Because the moderators on this forum have displayed their bias towards one particular sect. When that particular sect starts losing the debate the moderator swoops in and disqualifies the opponent who is harming their preference. That's what happened to Dr Eckleburg on this thread.
That particular sect has used that same method for centuries although with more devasting effect in real life.
That is a perfect heading for all your posts.
Worship the ONE Elohim YHvh; not two or three or goddess'
Congratulations, you agree with the Catholic Church!
Worhip the ONE YHvH on Shabbat not claim the pagan SUNday
You worship on the pagan Saturn day.
Do not make idols.
Congratulations, you agree with the Catholic Church.
Show lovingkindness toward those who worship YHvH.
I'm following your lead.
I love Matthew 28:19-20, but you want the real thing, not the fraudulent Shem Tov Matthew.
Here, let me help:
Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.May you know [God].
Done and done.
Thank God you're not talking about the Catholic Church.
I believe that is the same line of whining Tyson used when his sport's version of a moderator swooped in and told him "no more biting off Holyfield's ears"
Old whine, old whineskins. Que sera sera.
Oh, good grief!
I don’t know who “that particular sect” is, but thank God he’s not talking about the Catholic Church.
I have seen many of the ancient Christological heresies resurrected by one or another of the anti-Catholic posters on this forum. It's sad, really.
Your claim seems to make very convenient use of different languages and how different cultures mark the start and end of days.
First of all, the claim about Sunday is meaningless to a Spaniard, for instance, who worships God on Domingo.
Secondly, why use the name Shabbat and not Saturday (if you are going to use the English word for a day of a week you should be consistent)? Because your argument collapses there as well because the Sabbath IS NOT Saturday because it begins at nightfall on Friday.
Christians, not just Catholics but all Christians, understand that GOD ROSE FROM THE DEAD on Easter SUNDAY. It was HIS decision to Rise on the day that Greek and Roman pagans honored the sun. Whay should we second guess His will?
You are free to deny that just as you deny the Holy Trinity. You are even free to call us Romanists (though you should also call Calvinists and Baptists Romanists because they share far more beliefs with Catholics than they do with you), but that does not make you right.
SOME have.
Not all.
I’d guess very few, actually. Maybe only one or 2 or 3.
I should apologize, because it's quite possible you worship not precisely on Saturn day, but perhaps as well on the evening of Freyja day (she being the Norse goddess of love, beauty, fertility and war).
No. Not talking about Christ’s Universal Church—His Body.
Just talking about
The congregations, colleges, universities, orders, groups affiliated with and submitted to The Vatican and the Pope in Rome.
As you probably well know in your brazenly tenacious !!!!DEMANDS!!!! to
!!!!CONTROL!!!! Protty vocabulary and perspectives.
Is that just another way of saying you wish that anti-Catholic bigots were allowed to post whatever bigotry they can find? Because if that's the venue some are looking for we would be happy to give them the names of forums that encourage this type of bigotry.
Yes, the Catholic Church.
Love, beauty, fertility AND war? Dang - can this goddess cook too? Cause I’m like THIS close to worshiping her....

Somehow I don't think that would be necessary.
So you're leaving out the Catholic Church.
Whew. That's a relief.
