Wilkerson wrote a book back in the late 70's where he discusses a vision that he had. I read it about once a year, and the stuff in it keeps coming true, though with 20/20 hindsight on my part. For instance, he wrote about tv's in every home that were spewing out porno 24/7, available to anyone. Not tv's, but computers and the web. He also wrote of a "hate Christ" movement that coincided with a rebellion against parents. I think we're seeing the prelude to the former, and the latter's picking up steam.
I like Sproul, though I disagree with him on the preterist thing. His book on holiness is great.

Sproul is a "semi-preterist". He still believes in the future return of Christ. And I agree with you, although I don't agree with all his views on eschatology, he is brilliant reformed theologian.
