Well, I'll be...thanks for correcting me. I didn't have time to go through ALL the hymns, and am glad to see that you haven't done away with the Cross in some.

Does that mean there will soon be a change in the doctrine regarding the Cross, since it means so much to Christians?

If by this you mean Mormons adding crosses in their chapels, I am pretty sure the answer is no. The difference in doctrine, as I understand it, is that we also consider the activities in the garden to be part of the Atonement, along with the activities on the cross. Both are important. Without the cross (and resurrection), we would not be able to return to live with God.
