As NYer posted, this is for discernment only and scepticism is warranted. In the end, it doesn’t really matter what anyone else says. What matters is that the Blessed Mother told us at Fatima to pray the Rosary daily for peace. If Sr. Lucia said that the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart was done properly, then she ought to know and we should take her word for it. Nevertheless, this “visionary”’s words should remind us of the seriousness of Our Lady’s message and that we do need to pay attention to it. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to be prepared for the three days of darkness, whether it comes or not.
Anyone have a ready link to the (alleged) statement by Sr. Lucia? By alleged, I don’t mean to suggest skepticism that the words came out of her mouth, but were they said freely, not under duress or undue influence and without interpretational difficulties? Even approved visionaries are not infallible.
Blizzard, hurricane, tornado, possum in the transformer substation ... being prepared for all kinds of service outages is a good idea, any time.
Didn’t Pope John Paul II do that and the Soviet Union fell to pieces as a result?
