I think not.
I am NOT saying it is ok. I am just saying I don’t think Catholic or non-Catholic has anything to do with it. Beyond the idea that a perv might think a priestly position might be a good “cover.” But that isn’t the Catholic church’s fault.
If the doctrine or teaching of the Catholic church advocated child molestation, I’d be 100% against them. Which is similar to why I am 100% against Muslims. They teach it, officially, and they officially teach jihad as well.
It was not just someone from the Catholic Church, there are literally HUNDREDS of priests that sexually abused children. If HOME DEPOT had HUNDREDS of sexual abusers, I guarantee you it would and should cause an uproar.
nope, doesn’t fly. There are FAR more incidences of protestant clergy, teachers, scout leaders, molesting children than Catholic clergy.....why do you hear so much about the Catholics.....you don’t chase the Lutheran church if a minister goes astray, he represents 1 congregation and they don’t have much money, teachers are representitives of the government and have fair protection, Catholics, however, are “employees of an archdiocese and thus there are deep pockets. No case should have been allowed to proceedwithout the accused being there (no dead priests) and beyond whatever statue of limitations that applied...When these 20 and 30 year cases come out of the woodwork, I’m very suspicious of the motives of the complainant......kind of like the “repressed memory stories”
