Jews don't believe that Jesus was the God of the Torah do they? Of course not. I also think that they had a penalty for people who claim that they do. Death. In fact, isn't that why they killed Jesus?
So no you can't believe in the same God the Jews do can you? And if you aren't a Catholic you can't believe in their God either. The same for any of the different religions. Do you understand or is this too confusing?
You seem so sure that they must be different gods, but let’s talk about someone else for comparison:
1. Obama is President of the United States of America.
2. Obama is the second coming of Jimmy Carter.
3. Obama is a godlike, transformative political savior.
4. Obama is secretly gay.
5. Obama is not qualified to be President by birth, and therefore not President of the United States of America.
Obviously, these are not all the ‘same Obama.’ However, all refer to one man. Some statements can be harmonized and others cannot, but Obama, the merciful, the blessed, the Obama is one.
