Coded references to New Testament Bible passages about Jesus Christ are inscribed on high-powered rifle sights provided to the United States military by a Michigan company, an ABC News investigation has found.
The sights are used by U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and in the training of Iraqi and Afghan soldiers. The maker of the sights, Trijicon, has a $660 million multi-year contract to provide up to 800,000 sights to the Marine Corps, and additional contracts to provide sights to the U.S. Army.

Check Romans 4:5
The manufacturer admits they are deliberate references.
What’s ridiculous is that reporters & bureaucrats are freaking out over it.
Agreed.
Ain't that the truth... and it's not like they put the Jesus fish on it (which would be OK with me):
Besides, if you are using the scope, you can't see the serial number anyway.
Those scopes have saved more American lives than any other small arm advance in the last 100 years.
You’d think they might want to do a little real reporting, like on the murder of priests in Iraq and the ethnic cleansing of Christians.
Thunder and lightning just seemed a little more apropos. Smirky, though. And the makers seem to be serious Christians to go by the few other verses. If you must kill your fellow man, better to be reverent in your belieff.
"What would Jesus do?"
With a rifle?!! LOL!
With a rifle?!! LOL!
I thought that was funny too.
He probably wouldn't need to do much. I imagine it would be game changer if the muzzies found themselves at the business end of rifle held by Jesus.
Treason, pure and simple.
Right on the money.
Thanks.
Yes, we should only meet in catacombs and communicate with secret symbols <>< so as not to give the Neo-Comms any ammunition they can us against us. /s
You’re welcome but you hit the nail so smack on the head I don’t really deserve thanks for recognizing it. This Marxism and anti-Americanism has got to go.
No need. Their comments stand as a reflection of who watches and agrees with ABC News.
plus those evil crosshairs sometimes look like....A CROSS!
True.
I’m all for the labelling on the rifles, just to constantly and consistently remind the Muzzies who their masters are.
Islam deserves to be denigrated, embarrassed and rubbished. It is a political movement in the cloak of a religion.
Who knew!
I have a set of Trijicon night sights on my latest acquisition. I'll have to check them over closely. Something from John's Apocalypse, I hope.
Let me know what you find. I’m kind of curious to see how many different verses there are.
Cheers
Sometimes I wonder if reason for complaint isn't that the complainers don't believe, but rather that they think believers are seeking an unfair "advantage"?
And they will know that I am The Lord when I Smite Them Down with Great Fury!
At least it wasn’t a verse that talks about a mighty hand and an outstreched arm. heehee. As in reach out and touch someone.
