This is just perfect. Along with Boston/Cambridge, Western MA is the most liberal voting portion of the state: Springfield, Holyoke, Northampton, Amherst, Chicopee, etc. — Worcester also affected by the weather.

The most conservative part of the state, south of Boston along the cape, seem spared.

This weather may indeed further depress turnout for the less motivated dems. At the least it should reduce the ACORN buses as they navigate slushy streets.
