I can see why you would get that from my poorly written statement.

For clarification....

Jesus (being God) did not have to “dwell” on this decision very long.

And I also have no doubt that Mary knew who he is and his purpose.

Okay. We do have a few non Trinitarians here. But Jesus, being God, did not require a human to interact with Him in order to take action. Remember that God is all - the Alpha and the Omega - He is everywhere and everywhen. All at once.
